I have a question for all of you experienced MB owners out there. I bought a 1985 300SD yesterday that has 200,000 miles. It has been babied for a long time. I just read something concerning on another forum that said most of these have to have the front end rebuilt after 200,000 miles????

My car is in perfect running condition without any major problems. Is this something that needs to be taken care of???

If it's in good running condition and nothing is wrong with it, you have nothing to worry about. Diesels go a long time if they are well maintained and taken care of. You don't have much to worry about there Macy.
