hi all ! i'm thinking of purchasing an 18 foot speed boat and was wandering if anyone could advise is it possible to tow it with my SLK230K 1998 auto ???? or shoud i stick to using the wifes C class ???

i don't think that the slk was designed to tow any thing. its a sports car not a truck

 

If you can afford the speed boat why not buy a truck to go with it. I'm sure your wife would appreciate not tearing her C class up towing it. [sm=badidea.gif] ...on the SLK tow idea. As powerful as it is, it's still just a 4 banger. [sm=violent053.gif][sm=violent053.gif]

 

ok guys ! thanks for the replies, the truck idea sounds ok but i've not found a convertible model yet that looks as good as the slk!!
maybe i should trade the slk for a clk (if that will tow a boat ????)
unless anyone else has ideas ???????
