Tail light recall
 

wat exactly is the tail light recall? ive read a lot about it when i did car faxes on slk and i got mine now with no history of the recall is this a concern??????????

if the car hasnt been to the dealer in a long time it probably needs the taillights replaced. it is for the problem with SLKs when the brake lights always burn out. it is a problem with the tail light itself and if it has been to a dealer they are supposed to do it then during that visit.

Problem is - Intermittent illumination of the STOP lights.
You ge to know when stop lights go out since the BULB WARNING light comes on.
It is however annoying and potentially dangerous.
Centre High Mounted (LED) brake light continues to work.
