SLK320 Carbon Fiber Dash Kit
 

I have a 2001 SLK320. I hate the ugly wood trim on the car. Does anyone know where I can get a carbon fiber dash kit for this car? I've looked everywhere but no one seems to make one for this particular Mercedes. Can anyone help me out?

Hi Jes,

I'm not an expert just a newbie like yourself. My comments refer to the UK
Carbon Fibre was the standard dash on the 230 SLK up to the intro of the facelift in 2000.
At this point the 320 was introduced and the dash changed to Machined Aluminium.

I've been looking for a Wooden dash for a while so you may be in luck. Depends on what switches are fitted to your car, type of wood etc. Can you send a photo?

Is it possible that the dash kit in a 98 is identical to yours? If so I'd be willing to swap my Carbon Fiber set for your Wood set. (As long as the wood is real and in good condition).

Hey guys, I got an 01 320 too and it has real wood grain including the steering wheel. Looking to swap it for aluminum or carbon fiber.

Where on earth did you find that CF console? How much was it?
