Heres the deal my car is a 99slk230 amg and will not start. Its at the mechanic shop and they dont know what it is ill have codes tomorow but jsut wanted a general idea. Obviously i need to get to work so this needs to be fixed pronto.
The car will try to start sas the starter is kicking in however never seems to turn over. Im normaly a bmw guy and decided to try the benz cause of its great looks. There is no back fire when trying to start or any engine noise at all for that matter any help would be great thanks

This statement is contradictory. Either it cranks o it doesn't. If it doesn't crank... likely explanation...

IS T MORE LIKE A CRANK AND STOPS LIKE A DISCONNECT OR CONNECT IF SO CHECK K40 BLOCK LET ME NO........

 

Yes maybe K40 need joints resoldering..

Also some fuel filters have a faulty pressure valve and need replacing.
