I wish I had seen your post early had the same thing on mine. Relay!! Mine wansn't shaking it was dry heaving!!!

Now you have the K40 relay experience to share with other SLK owners, hopefully you can inform them before the entire car gets replaced.. These forums literally save people thousands of dollars.. "or what ever currency you use.."

one experience i could go on without having, anywayz this is my advice NEVER TRUST COMPUTERS!!! if i was to carry on replacing everything that freaking box said to those as....s at mb here in greecei would have to walk the walk shaking my butt to paythem. all is good now so...

p.s. For future reference, wiring doesn't "wear out". It may chaffe or corrode or have some bad insulation, but it does not wera oyr. Fire your mechanic!
