s/w mode
 

i need help understanding the s/w mode on the transmission. when i punch it in s mode it takes longer to shift out and if i let off it doesnt drop rpms it slowly drops them. is that not good?

S will rev higher before changing , gears start in 1st.
W starts in 2nd unless kickdown pressed, reverse ratio higher too, will hold onto gears a bit longer before changing. When pushed hard changes at lower rpms.

Its explained in glove box manual.

I thought S was for "Sport" and W was for "Woman".........
