I am new to this forum. I own a 1999 E300 Turbo Diesel, and have owned two 300d's. So I am familiar with Mercedes. I am looking at a 3 owner
SLK 230 with 75,000 miles. Its a southern car and has a clean Carfax. Any advice about these vehicles pro and con would be apprieciated.

a very fun car. my biggest beef is the cheapo vinyl paint on certain interior parts. the engine is solid, handles well, comfortable on long trip and very stable at high speeds. make sure everything works, especially the most important thing, the top. run her up to 80 or more, check for vibrations. the acceleration should be strong when you kick in the supercharger (kompressor). it all should be as smooth as silk.. check brakes. look for leaks after you drive her and I love mine.
