Parking Lock Release Pin
 

I have just purchased a 2002 SLK230 Kompressor.https://mercedesforum.com/forum/images/icons/icon7.gif
The owners manual states to unlock the automatic gearbox use the "Parking Lock Release Pin" found in the tool kit.
My vehicle came without a tool kit and the local MB suppliers can not find a part number and diagrams they have of a tool kit do not show this pin.https://mercedesforum.com/forum/images/icons/icon5.gifhttps://mercedesforum.com/forum/images/icons/icon5.gif

a pencil or a pen will work just fine
