Hi, I need some help on a balance shaft issue. My vehicle is a 07 slk350 with 75k, check light is on and mbz will only pay 30% of the cost to repair my vehicle. I remember reading some where about a class action lawsuit on the same issue and that the warranty got extended. Does anyone have any info on it? Much appreciated.

Hi I have the same problem, Mercedes have quoted £4,900 to repair it that does not include new chain. Don't know what to do as have another quote from merctec £2100
