More Horse Power for SLK-230
Hi everyone. Does anyone know a good source for cold air intake? I am looking at putting one of these bad boys in my SLK-230 2000 but I am confused because there are 2 different intakes on the passengers side and the drivers there is another pipe going from the throttle body down toward the ground. Also, does anyone know any other ways to add great horse power. I have already added a flowmaster cat back exhaust. I heard if you move the MAS sensor you can get better horse power, but where do you move it to? Thanks
Depends on the year if moving maf required, pre 2000 normally to reduse a flat spot.
Only proven way to get more from this engine is a larger crank pulley.
Cold air, chips and exhaust dont do much.
If pre 2000 then maf relocate kit, plugs and fpr req.

Hello, I understand now that you can get a pulley for the benz, but how much horse power would I be getting? I added a standard K&N filter in the stock air box and that seemed to add some horse power. I would like to switch to cold air because from my understanding it adds even more. It just looks confusing to hook up the cold air. What do you think about the ECU being reprogrammed or chipped? Also, check out this website. I found a cold air with this turbo looking device buit in. Do you think this adds horse power? http://www.myhotmercedes.com/mercede...Charger/534467
Also, anyone know where to get a aftermarket grill for this car?

Mercedesman. You need to post on with those questions, many many times answered. SEarch will help.
As stated in my prev post for pulley.
