i need a list of parts and prices or a good site where i can get any performance parts and if anyone has any suggestions on what is best please let me know i also was wondering about an intake system if anyone has made one could i please see a list of parts and maybe some pics please

 

Best way for more power on the 230 esp a 98 is an ASP pulley kit and Linhs MAF relocation and fuel reg kit.
The other items dont make much of an increase.

Yes I have along with many others. Power increase I think of about 20hp.
You can feel the difference. Cheapest $$$ per hp around.

You could change your final drive gear ratio (new ring and pinion). $$$ Why not look at a SLK32 instead?

Baz is correct, you can over-spend and not see great results. That is true with most car projects. Try the pully kit and then re-access your needs.

 

That's only half the kit so it's missleading. The entire kit costs about $1,000 and that's cheap. Consider that same type of kit from a Euro tuner would cost double. If money is a consideration, send back the factory pulley in usable condition (assuming you didn't mangle it removing it), and you get the $300 core charge back. Whe Bazzle says 20HP, that's on a chassis dyno at the rear wheels, not engine HP, that would be about 15-20% more on an 98 with auto trans. If you feel you still need more power, an aftermarket filter will give you about 3-4HP on a chassis dyno. If you yearn for even more, get headers and a complete exhaust system with high-flow cat and high-flow muffler, then you'll get about 10-12HP more.

To put it in perspective, on my 2002 C230 with ASP pulley and ITG airfilter, I shaved quater mile ETs by a second, that's very significant.

If you truly need more power, consider NOS or an engine transplant, maybe a C32 engine.
