Headlight Bulb Replacement - Xenon?
 

My headlight on my 2000 SLK just blew, can anyone recommend a brand for Xenon or Super White bulbs that WILL NOT melt my wires? Piaa's?

Does anyone know the brand for the OEM light that come with the newer SLK's?

for xenons i would recommend Hella, which is O.E. for most European brands such as Mercedes, BMW, Audi, VW, Porshce, Ferrari, etc...
I have on my car a Hella 6000k kit and its been almost 4 years and it still work great.


The O.E. halogen lamp i had was made by Philips (2001 clk430), I believe there are some other brands..

Stay away from the cheap xenon halogen bulbs, even the "EXPENSIVE", $100 Piaa's can burn out in 1 or 2 months
