Default Did you know this about your SLK?

That from the passenger's or driver's side window you can see straight up even when the glass is in the up position. I would not have thought so had I not tried it. Just press the side of your face against the glass near the top of the window and you can see straight up and even a little more.

These photos show my SLK parked in the garage. I put the camera lens (pointing up) next to the driver's window (remember, we drive on the left here in Thailand).

You can see that the lens just captures the overhead red pipe. And that red pipe is somewhat greater than just straight up.

I have not tried this with our S or SL cars.

Can't say this is something I've considered before. A matter of the amount of tumblehome (curvature) in the side glass?
