Default Clicking or rattling sound from my supercharger?? Help!!

Hi MF, I'm new and want to get feedback about my clicking/rattling car. Basically, the rattling seems to be coming from the engine...supercharger. I've read the forum "rattling noise when hit accelerator at low speeds" and my case sounds the same. My car rattles at low speed off and on and especially when I accelerate gently or coming to a stop. MB Dealership said it's the cat converter but my personal mechanic said it's the supercharger since the sound is coming from that area. Which is it? Is it possible that it's the cat converter even though the rattling is from the supercharger? Any help would be great. Thanks MF.

Both can make such a noise so it depends on determining the exact location.
Cats usually rattle when cold.
Easy to tell if its the cat with the car on a lift.

Open hood, rev engine to 4k and back, have a listen (wont rev higher as limiter comes in when in park/netral)
