Hello,
As a new owner od a SLK230, the car wash was trying to unscrew my antenna and unscrewed the actual cable and broke it. It was $59 for the antenna and $100 for the labor to install it. UUGGHH.
I noticed on the new antenna that the base was screwed on too tight and it was happenning again. This is a defect on installation. The MB dealer noticed this and GAVE me a new antenna and base for free. FYI.
