One for the electrical gurus? Main feed - plastic covered - to boot light carries +12V, Wire from bulb - bare spade - is showing +3V . Removed bulb and ran V meter on both wires.
Bulb intact, but not lit.
My experience says the opposite wire from the bulb should be -.
If I run a jump to -, the bulb lights, but stays on when boot closed
Where is the control switch.for the light located?
Check removal of fuse #9, de activates the circuit.
