Default blue tooth kits

My wife and i bought an 06 slk55 amg. One of the selling pointswas that it was prewired for cell phones. Now I found out that there is an additional charge of $2400.00 for the adapter kit and bluetooth code. Is there another way of getting it that doesn't cost as much?

We have Argos/Parrot Bluetooth kit available for your vehicle.
Price is $499 shipped to US.
The functions are limited - no caller ID display on radio and no steering wheel controls.
Will not work if your car is equipped with fiber optic amp.

We are also looking for a bluethooth phone option. 2002 320 SLK, no factory phone option. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You can check Duval Motors, an MB dealer in Florida. The link is on my website at buellwinkle.com and they discount MB parts on their online website which wil be cheaper than what you dealer is asking. Don't call the dealer directly as they will charge you full price, you have to go through their website and email questions. You have a very nice car, why mess up the looks with aftermarket stuff.
