Bike rack for my Graphite 2005 SLK 350
 

HELP !!!!

Need a bike rack for my 350. Need to be able to carry my Felt Beach cruiser (Little Bastard)...

Every high end rack I have seen cannot work with this car. Merc states they have nothing for the S class. Poor excuse, to assume that sports car owners don't ride bikes or need to carry them. So if anyone has any ideas or knows how I can install a trailer hitch for a bike rack on this car please elt me know. All information will be much appreciated. I NEED TO FIND A SOLUTION !!!!!

There may not be one for the S class as stated in your message but lightweight ones are available in the USA for SLKs.

Did you (oranybody)ever manage to find that hitch for the SLK 350? I have not been able to find one and Mercedes claims they don't sell any.Mercedes doessell a special roof-mounted bike rack with an expensive assembly; but this is not only pricey but also prevents the convertible roof from opening while carrying bikes (kind of shoots down the idea of a nice drive down to the shore with my bike so I can ride!).
Any ideas or leads?
