Default ABS problems

I may have run out of patient's with the SLK 230 1998 170
failed MOT with ABS light as stated on the forum previously.
I have just spent another £xxxx,on a diagnosis, which included another sensor. Still the ABS, brake pads,(which I changed) hand brake warning lights are still on the dash, gearbox will not change up, speedometer not working, roof not working. I seem to have bought a pup.
My main issue it seems is the ABS system upsetting everything I have now got the car on a SORN as it cannot go on the road.
Now stumped, as I cannot get it to a Merc garage, and anyway, at what price?
Any help gratefully received.

Hello,
BSKPL, with a sick Merc namely SLK 230 Kompresor 1998.
I am still hoping a result from readers would appear regarding my Merc's ailments
So on going from my past posts, are that I have a code that comes up in the trip window in the speedometer, a spanner symbol next to -198, would this be an engine management warning?
I am ready to jump out of my bungalow window (4ft) so the onus is on your replies
regards
Brian
