Hi, im thinking of buying a W107, I was wondering if anyone had information on the back seats. According to various websites the convertable is only a 2 seater but I have spotted a few for sale on the net with (tiny) back seats. I'm, only going to buy one if theres a back seat.

 

The US versions did not have a back seat only a carpeted area, there are aftermarket seats available, in both a fixed version and a version that the backrest folds down for hauling things. The mounting holes are there, are fairly easy to install, and come with seat belts. They are available in MB Tex and leather $500 and up. You really cant tell if you have the MBTex, plus it keeps your small child or dog comfortable and looks good.

 

SLC's have back seats, whereas SL's don't - from the factory. Both are W107's the SLC's are not convertibles, while the SL's are.

Some SL's have the after market backseat, but don't expect anyone older then 8 or 9 years old to be able to sit in the back.
