SL500 Radio
 

Hi to all from a newbie. Can anybody shed a light on how to remove the radio in a SL500 '05' plate please? I am fitting a phone kit for a mate of mine.

must remove the whole wood panel first along the center console. pull off the panels on the side of the console both sides, remove all the torx screws along the sides also 2 hidden in the armrest compartment. pull off shifter knob. kind of a bitch to remove...especially trying to explain it. you have to remove or pop off the cupholder trim pieces the piece you push to open up the cupholder. youll see why when removing the wood trim along the console.
