Quiet Tires

Does anyone have a reccomendation for "quiet tires"?. I upgraded my 96 S500 to 18" AMG's 235/50x18. I have always installed Michellins on all of the S Class MB's that I have owned but have become dissatisfied with the tire wear. Running a set of Goodrich now, decent tire but too noisy any suggestions?

RE: Quiet Tires

Try some expensive Michellin Pilot Sport PS2's. I got about 14K miles out of my rear 275/35/18's but still have plenty of rubber on my front 245/40/18's.

They are quite and really grip the road. OBTW, they are a Summer Performance tire.
