Hi-
I just locked my (all 3 sets)keys in my trunk while trying to fix a jammed CD player. I have a 99 SL500. The convertible is down and doors unlocked.
Why won't the interior trunk release button work in this instance?

the only thing i can think of is to cheat the central locking by manually moving the door lock cylinder/actuator to open position.
this will let the PSE to do global unlocking.
