Hydraulic self-leveling flush

Can someone share with me the procedure for flushing the hydraulic self-leveling system on a R129 V12. I understand that this should be done every couple of years and the filter changed. I understand that you can use the Febi-Bilstien Fluid, p/n#02615 instead if the MB brand.
Does anyone know if there is a aftermarket filter available or only MB filter ordered from the dealer?
Does that procedure flush the entire hydraulic system? Raised top and self-leveling system?
Thank you for any advice

Dave,
These are two separate hydraulic systems. I don't know a thing about the suspension leveling system as my car doesn't have it.

As far as the top system, you can evacuate the system by disconnecting the return line to the hydraulic pump (under the spare tire in the trunk), place it into an empty container (1/2 gallon milk container), activate the top down procedure, then top up, and the fluid should run into the empty container. Use something like a turkey baster to get the residual oil out of the pump reservoir, use a cloth to wipe out the remaining fluid residue, refill with the Febi fluid (1.2 ltrs) and you're done. There is no filter to change that I know of in the top system.

Good Luck, Have Fun-

Bob
