Homeless 280 SL, 1979

Do you think this is the best forum for me and my car? Europeans love the 280 SL, but Im having trouble finding info here in the US.

Took it out yesterday, in the cold, and it was great! Leave it to Mercedes to engineer a convertible roadster that is fun in the cold. Ive heard rumors that the timing chain should be replaced at 200k miles.. Any truth in that for the 280 engine?
