Although rarely needed, I had the occasion to need the heater the other night. Even after reading the manual, I was unable to get the heater working. I have had it on previously but not in the past year. Exactly which buttons, wheels, blowers should be pushed or turned. Even when the temperature wheel is turned to hot, I still get cold air conditioned air with the automatic button.

 

I have no problems with the car driving, but after driving the car approx. 10 miles the "Check engine light comes on. Then approx. after drving the car another 5 miles the "Low Fuel Light" comes on, although the tank is not low on fuel.
I had the engine light turned off once already, but the above mentioned cycle repeats.
Any suggestions?
