Default Changing the language in Linguatronic

My german sourced 2003 model SL500 (R230) has the "german speaking" version of Linguatronic installed. Does anyone know if the language can be changed by the user and how? Do I need to have the software/firmware need to be substituted by a dealer? How much does it cost?

The car is a dream. No leaks, no rattles, no glitches.

just change the language from COMAND.

there's menu there. system, language, time and date, sushi, etc.

I“ve done that but it doesn't change the Linguatronic language. It only changes the language of the functions handled by Comand, like the sta/nav, radio, phone, etc. When I activate Linguatronic from the column stalk it still responds in german.

oh, you mean the voice command.

can't you just try to speak in german? see if the lady recognize your voice.

anyway, just replace the CD of that linguatronic voice control. it's easier.

it is located on the middle of the rear seat.

they got spanish, italian, etc.
