ABS and Check Engine light
 

Hi all, I am new to this forum and appreciate all of the questions and responses everyone has contributed.

I have a 1992 500SL, I am getting an intermittent ABS light and when lit, the MPG gauge (vacuum) pegs to the left at 30+ (assumed not working) when the ABS light is lit. I have also had the check engine light illuminate during this time, but goes out upon restart of the motor. I have new pads and rotors installed, but the light issue was prior to the new parts.
I am an old line mechanic for GM, but the Mercedes stuff is new to me. Any ideas on the ABS light issue? Is there an OBD port or a way to flash computer codes? Also, looking for recommendations for a good service manual to aid my service delima? Many thanks, TK
