Angry 95 sl600 need help--left bank problem

I have a 95 SL600, it won't hold idle, and idling rough. I took it to mech. shop. They check the compression and spark are very strong. They and pull off spark plug. The spark on the right bank look pretty good, but on the left bank it's wet and smell gas....they replaced new spark plugs and drive for about an hour. The left bank is fouled again. They tried to switch the MAF one another but it won't help.

There are 3 codes: 06 ISC -EA, 38 ISC -EA , 42 VOLTAGE MAF SENSOR TOO H/L - LH1 SFI. The shop I taking my car to, they don't do much MB work so they not sure what's to recomend me to replace. They are thinking about the computer unit that control the MAF sensor and fuel injection on the left bank side but not sure......because these parts are so expensive they don't want me to spend the money that is not going to fix the problem....So any one can give me some advice, I would be very appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Oh! the car has 79k on it.
New spark wires, cap & rotor.

replace the fuel pressure regulator. The crappy ethanol put into our gasoline nowadays can eat up the fuel pressure regulator diaphragms, because they were not designed with materials compatible with ethaonl.

The regulator has a hose that senses intake manifold pressure. When the regulator diaphragm starts to leak, it dumps gasoline up the hose and into the right intake manifold. It only dumps fuel into the right side intake manifold, which feeds the left bank of cylinders.

This regulator is very easy to change out. If you own some snap ring pliers, into only takes 10 minutes to change out the regulator. The part price ranges from $50 to $100, depending on your source.

Hi:

Is the machine easy to start?
What is the combustion time via HHT?
Have you exchange EZL left & right?
Have you check the throttle's electric wire? you need cut the protect the glue set.
Have you check camshaft timing?
I think may be throttle's electric wire ageing, left EZL damage.
These opinion hope and help and solve your problem.

Boo
