I have purchased a 1987 560 SL and it is in amazing shape however I notice that the grill is plastic. Is this right or is this a replacement and the OEM grille should be metal

I too have just purchased a roadster 87 560, 40k miles,, with plastic grill, am told it is original.mine has. Not been run in several years,has no gas but been in garage.
