Last week I turned the engine off but it didn't shut off. I then removed the neg. cable... still kept running. I removed the pos. cable... still kept running.
Had to pull the coil wire to shut down. Now the ignition stays "Hot" so I have to keep the neg. cable off. When starting, I replace the coil wire and the neg cable and it starts and runs fine. So...
Removed and checked the key tumbler... OK.
Could it be the ignition starter switch or ignition control unit or maybe something else? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
