230sl Thumping sound!
 

Hi
I recently had my 230sl Auto, 1967 gearbox reconditioned. There is however a "thump"-ing sound between first and second (no matter at what speed you accellorate). The car has been at the technitions/ mechanics and they have been trying to fiddle here and there, but can't get it right?!

any ideas?

By the way -- your carcan only be in1st gear if the kickdown switch is pressed or if the gearshift lever is in position "2".
