2003 SL500 APPLIANCE BATTERY
CAN ANYONE ADVISE HOW LONG A FULLY CHARGED BATTERY,(THE TRUNK BATTERY)
SUPPORT THE ONLINE APPLICANCES WHEN THE CAR IS NOT DRIVEN?
I WAS TRAVELLING FOR 7 DAYS, WHEN I STARTED THE CAR, THE COMPUTER SAID , "APPLIANCE BATTERY OFF LINE" OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT..
IS THIS AN INDICATION THE BATTERY IS GETTING SOFT.?

that depends on what you're using according to current consumption in amperes. if your battery is 120AH (ampere hour), it means that it will get totally discharge for 120 hours using 1 ampere load (12 watts). i might be wrong so correct me if i am.
your model got battery control module which monitors the battery charge level. if it goes below 11 volts, it will cut off other accessories to avoid difficulty in starting the engine. (e.g. sunroof, aircon, radio).

SLEEPWALKER..
THANKS FOR THE INPUT....I BELIVE THE APPLIANCE BATTERY IS A 70AH..AND YOUR CALCS ARE CORRECT...I DIDNT HAVE NOR DID I TAKE TIME TO MEASURE THE CURRENT DRAW OF THE ONLINE APPLIANCES...BUT IF THE OFFLINE MONITOR TAKES IT OUT AT 11 VOLTS ,I CAN CALCULATE WHAT WOULD BE NORMAL TIME..
THANKS AGAIN
