2001 SL500..... hardtop needs alignment???
 

I am about to buy this 2001 SL500 for my mother.... The seller says the hard top he has is of a 1999..... i heard 1999-2002 hardtops would fit any of SL that fell between those years.... well i wanted to see the top on b4 i baught it, the hard top would get pulled down but than would rise back up about an inch or 2...... the body shop said he could make some adjustments and have the top fit perfectly.......

I just want to make sure the guy is selling me the propper top for a 2001 SL500 and not a 1998 or earlier hardtop....

not all at once now....... never mind, i bought the SL and turns out the so called '99 top didn't fit so it must have been an older one.... i got another top and had it painted to match the body...... i actually got it back today.....
