I am getting front end shake between 60-90mph, any ideas what might be causing this?

i think it could be your wheels , break-disks or shocks. But then it could be something as simple as balancing the wheels

If your wheels are balanced properly, try torquing the wheel bolts to the correct specs - 110Nm ~ 85ft-lb.

Could be several issues:

Tire out of balance
Wheel alignment
Worn out bushings

and all of the above mentioned items.

The main thing is to start with the least expensive (or most obvious) then work your way up.

I have the same problem with my 2000 SL500, has 46K miles on it, front end shakes, at speeds between 60 - 90 MPH, had the wheels balanced and aligned. Bushings should not wear out on a low mileage like this one, yet the same problem persist. I was also told that convertibles do have some flex on their chasis????? and this causes vibrations.
What would be the next and least inexpensive appropiate move? Thanx......

Same here, wheel balancing fixed it and should be your first port of call.
