Has anyone suggestions for drivers door not locking or unlocking door from outside with key. Using passenger door or trunk the system works fine and unlocks and locks all including drivers door, but no result from drivers door.
Is it a difficult job to access the door system? I have had the panel off other times for other issues but have not accessed the lock part of the system.

 

The pump is in the right hand side of the trunk. I believe that even when you use the key the compressor moves air. You might look for a leak. You might even hear it when you use the remote and the trunk is open and pump uncovered. I have to be truthful though, I haven't used a key since I purchased my 96 in 2007.
