Hi
I am new to this forum but joined as I need advice on the sale of my dear friends 1991 300 SL two door.
He has owned since new however has hardly driven it as he had a stroke .
It has genuine 2380 mile on the speedo Yes 2380 miles
It has been garaged all its life however has a paint scrape on front bumper. Only blemish I can find.
He has had someone start regular and I have backed it out to take photos
The car is situated in Hawaii and I would consider shipping it back to NZ only it is Left hand drive.
Attached are two photos and I can get more relative info should you query any detail
Thanks in anticipation

wow, a basically new 91 300sl RED ticket magnet. they sold for about 70k new. shouldn't have a problem selling it there if the price is right. It will probably run about 8 to 14 hundred to ship to the states. it's easy enough to get a quote online. too bad you guy's have to drive on the wrong side of the road down there. otherwise I'd say snag that baby and take her home. if you've got to drive her you'll know what I mean. nice cars

Thanks
Problem is getting them to part with their dollars

You are the second person to say the color attracts the boys in blue.
I am seriously considering taking it back to NZ. After doing a bit of homework I can leave it as Left hand drive because of being a classic.
Will let you know outcome

Looks like a lovely car, I have a 92' SL500 and I love to drive it, even with its vintage age it still goes like the proverbial off a chrome shovel. its worth the hassle shipping, trust me.

Snag a great deal, I guess it will cost you around $800 to get it to NZ, well worth it.
