1985 SL280 - Where the H*ll is the Idle Control Computer mounted??

Hey folks!

I've got a 1985 SL280 euro (107.042-12062715) that I've been bringing back to life. I've got it running ... pretty good ... with some problems with the idle recovery circuit and a stumble I'm blaming on the Bosch K-Jetronic. The O2 sensor wire is cut, and I'd like to reconnect it to the idle controller to see if that helps with idle recovery. But ... I CANNOT FIND the darn thing!

It's not behind the glove box... or on the passenger side panel... or under the dash anywhere I can see... or under the floor boards... or behind the carpet on the kick panel (on either side)... or... ANYWHERE I can find it!

Does anyone out there have any ideas on where I should look?
