03 SL CAN'T LOWER TOP WITH REMOTE KEY

2003 SL: WHEN HOLDING THE UNLOCK ON REMOTE, TOP SHOULD LOWER, OR WHEN HOLDING LOCKING BUTTON, TOP SHOULD CLOSE. WINDOWS CLOSE, DOORS LOCK BUT NO ACTION ON TOP?? ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Be sure you point it at the little sensor under the door handle...

Mine will take a couple seconds before the top jumps into action.

does the interior button works?

check if the luggage separator is properly closed.

it is slow to respond ,get close to the handle sensor
