xenon headlights
 

Hi all, this is my first post since I just turned 103000 miles on my 2000 S500 without any issues arising. I finally got bored enough to attempt the headlight upgrade to the clear projectors. I have Xenon headlights already so I purchased OEM headlights to avoid any problems but I find myself with 2 plugs and three holes to plug them into. The HID plug fits perfect but the low voltage plug is a different shape and does not fit onto the new headlight. There is a third receptacle on the new headlight which I dont knowwhat plugs into. Is there a wiring kit I can purchase to make this conversion? I would hate to have to decipher a schematic and start cutting and soldering wires. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi mate i just read your problem with the xenon headlights, im in same position i have 2000 S500 and have bought new genuine xenons which have 3 plugs and mine has two, did you manage to get a solution? help would be appreciated cheers. Alan

hi just wondering if you managed your conversion as i was thinking of upgradeing mine,
