hi guys,
for my 1990 560SEC., I need to buy the 30amp fuse link for the ac that lives under the hood behind the secondary firewall.
The one that lives in it's own little black holder..

somewhere to purchase it other than the dealer....
any ideas where i might purchase it online ?

I have looked on ebay, but no luck.

I had to replace the same fuse on my E320 a few days ago. I tried all the auto parts stores to no avail -- bit the bullet and shelled out my $1.80 at the dealership for it. Before I made it down there, however, I had rigged it up nicely with a new mini fuse holder and soldered on o-clamps. Worked great, but it wasn't, you know, Mercedes-Benz snooty. Good luck, wish I had a better answer for ya.

 

I wish I had the discipline to shop for savings on a $1.80 item.
