$1K is within range for a MB dealer for this repair. I checked online and best price I could find forone front wheelhub-your car was just over $200 (230). Add dealer markupof about 20-25% =approx.$290 parts. Alldata.com indicates labor for my car's front wheel hub at 1.8hrs so average 2hrs x at least 100per hr = 200+ labor. Add in probablybrake pads replaced x both sidesfor this type of repair = at least $120 parts + 1 hr labor of$100. So between $700-1000 dealer cost would be "normal". Dealerhigh costs, but normal in most genuine MB dealer shops.
