Hi all,
Need your expertise on a trunk issue on a 92 600SEL. I pupped it open this morning and when tried to close, it seemed like the latch/power assist didn't shut the lid. I pushed the latch in the "locked" position by pushing it down manually and locked/unlocked a few times with the key, now it's stuck in the locked position and doesn't open. Any ideas how to release it? My rear window was malfunctioning and I'm in process of replacing the regulator, could it be related? Thanks.

 

nope not related. second in 92 s classes there is a bad problem with trunk lid closing assist going bad. for starters is the lock in the vertical position.
