Transmission Regulator help
I need help, Sleepwalker may be interested as he is the transmission pro of the world.
My S320 95' 150,000 miles, she is old and tired but well taken care of car.
The Transmission in Reverse is failing I think the D-3 or 4 band/disc is going from moisture in the trany over time. When cold it’s a perfect traney but when hot it won’t build enough pressure for reveres. So my question is can I replace a transmission pressure modulator externally, or is there a pressure regulator internally that can be replaced without removing the trany.
