Trans problem with 1994 S500

I noticed a ton of trans fluid leaking under my car(94 s500 auto) when it's running only. I observed under the vehicle that the fluid is coming from where the torque convertor mates to the trans. Would this be a seal of some sort? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

could be a bushing. I forget what it's called but it may be some sort of bushing. what about oil as well? may want to get the rear main replaced since they would already be there. Let us know how you make out. Be sure to check the search menu via this board for your symptoms.

My trans 92 is starting to engage slowly in reverse, and in recent Posts they tell me it is at least an 8 hour R&R job at MB. The trans has to come out for any kind of front pump seal, $6k for aMB factoryrebuilt installed.
