Default Stalling S500

I have a 96 S500 and after connecting the diagnostic machine I got the following code. I called the dealership to ask them what the DAS control module was and they told me that the particular module did not register in their computer and that many times diagnostic machines have different names for the parts than what is listed in their computer. Doesnt make sense but oh well... What can you do? Does anyone know how to fix this particular problem? The car will all of a sudden die at intersections and it reads this code.

P1570 CAN signal from DAS control module to engine control module A. Start attempt with "locked" DAS
B. CAN signal from DAS control module to engine control module interrupted.
C. Engine control module and DAS control module are not compatible.
