I HAVE A 1994 MERCEDES S320 , WHEN EVER I START THE CAR THE SRS LIGHT STAYS ON, I DRIVE ABOUT 1 MILE AND IT GOES OFF AND STAYS OFF, UNTIL I TURN THE CAR OFF AND ON AGAIN. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT IS GOING ON? AND WHAT I NEED TO DO TO FIX THIS PROBLEM.

 

Sounds like a short or loose wire or could be in the onboard computer. Take it to a dealer as this is a safety. I had a similar issue with my smart key and smart start. My 99 C280 wouldn't start, unless I took the key out and let it sit for a minute after trying to start it. I took it to a dealer they reset the OTC and now it starts, but the smart start is questionable at best!

Hello! Looks like you have a problem with your throttle actuator.

 

Be aware that the dealer will most likely tell you that you need a new SRS Airbag. The bags I believe have a 10 year lifetime. and since your car is 10 years old it's time for a new one.

 

My SRS light was fixed 3 weeks ago and the reason was Low Voltage as Sleepwalker mentioned it.

I had the same problem. Pull your dash instrument panel out, and unscrew the SRS light bulb. That will fix it for sure.
