S550 Drivetrain

I have a 2008 S550 4Matic. It has about 31K on it. There is a slight vibration and definate low pitched whine, moan? between 1300 and 1500 rpm. It does not seem to matter what gear I am in. I can control the noise with the throttle by going over or under those rpm's. Any ideas? Thanks Keith

it is your drive shaft linkage. the bearings maybe shot, causing play in your "U" linkage
