hey guys
i'm new here..

i'm having some problems with my s420 its a 1999

1st off the front headlights

i put new aftermarket ones on
they look great ! and they have been on for a year with no problems

just recently the left driver side isnt working

when i start up the car.. both sides come on..
but when i turn the light switch on inside at night only the one side works?
when i turn the car off both lights come on like they should and turn off a couple seconds later
any ideas?

2nd the locks on the car have been always working fine
and all of a sudden they stopped working
the battery inside the key is fine

but the locks will not open or close

3rd

i already have 18 inch rims on my car
i would like to put 20 inch rims on them
will i have to do any mods to this car for them to fit
or will it be alrite to just put them on and not worry about anything

any help will be appriciated guys

hello,

about your headlights you might have a loose conections in the socket plugs, for the alarm, remote central locking system your vaccum pump has gone bad ( let me know if you need one) and about 20" rims i dont think you need to do any mods to fit them , but if you wanna take my advice stick with the 18" better, check out my benz how looks on 18's

thing is your s class aint gona feel as smooth with the 20" rims

so yh stick with the 18"s bud. But could i ask.will u be selling them? if so can u hint a price..and pop a pick up for us??

I have 4 original rims from 1994 S420 available for sale. They were just machined and in good condition. rubber is poor.

I will supply photos if required, but am technically not capable ( I will get young nephew to do for me)

since you change the whole head lamps, are the bulb still halogen or are they HID/xenon?
